I have been in love with Copenhagen ever since visiting my brother who was living there back in 2013. What first struck me about this beautiful place was how clean and advertisement free the airport and metro was! Copenhagen is a must see place (at least once in your life), the architecture is stunning, people are beautiful and well the danish pastries…just YUM!!
My third hotel is Hotel SP34, situated in the Latin quarter of Copenhagen this boutique style hotel has so much to offer whether you’re staying for business or leisure purposes. The Latin quarter (Latinerkvarteret) of Copenhagen is situated in the centre of the city, its known for it’s lively atmosphere with plenty of cafes, boutiques and night clubs.
Hotel SP34 formally Hotel Fox is part of the Brøchner Hotels chain, it features 118 rooms, private theatre, two story conference centre as well as a bar, restaurant and fitness suite.
Simple illuminated signage greets you from the street leading you in to a ground floor bar area with hardwood seating and concrete clad reception.
I love the simplicity in the tones of the furnishings contrasting with the light fittings and bar details. Areas for relaxation are dotted around the hotel allowing guests to work or socialise in a laid back surrounding.
One of the hotels restaurants is decorated with a selection of books and drawings along with luxurious velvet seating, kitsch condiment bottles and an exposed concrete floor (a complete mix of styles but WOW!)
The rooms in this hotel have a minimalist Danish style, of course! with neutral walls and furnishings, just like the ground floor the lighting fittings sing in the simple space.
Copenhagen is beautiful all year round so why not try this boutique spot in the heart of the city to experience true Danish design.
